According to Canada's Immigration Minister, Jason Kenney, Canada's 2010 immigration plan will put greater emphasis on the economic recovery by welcoming more economic category immigrants than before. The expected range for this year is anywhere between 240,000 to 265,000 immigrants in the economic, family and humanitarian categories.
